How does Skypost work?

Upload your files, and Skypost generates a unique 3-word password. Share those 3 words with anyone — they enter them on skypost.co.uk to download your files. No accounts needed on either side.

What is a 3-word password?

A 3-word password is a combination of three simple English words that acts as the key to your folder. It's easy to share via text, WhatsApp, or in person — and hard to guess.

Do I need an account to send files?

No. You can send files instantly without creating an account. An optional free account lets you manage your folders and track access.

How large can files be?

Free users can send files up to 500 MB each. Pro users get up to 5 GB per file, and Business plans support up to 20 GB per file.

How long do files stay available?

Free folders last 7 days. Pro folders last 30 days, and Business folders last up to 90 days. After expiry, folders are archived — paid users can revive them anytime.

Can someone send files back to me?

Yes. Skypost folders are two-way — anyone with the 3-word password can upload files to the same folder. Great for collecting documents or collaborating.

What is Request mode?

Request mode lets you create an empty folder and share it with someone so they can upload files to you. They don't need an account — just the 3 words.

How do I share the 3 words?

However you like — WhatsApp, text message, email, voice call, or in person. Skypost also provides a direct link and QR code you can share.
