Send photos and videos at full quality
No squashed videos, no blurry photos. Send the originals from any phone or computer and share them with 3 words.
The old way
Messaging apps shrink your photos and videos to save data. Email cannot take more than a few pictures. AirDrop only works between Apple devices in the same room. And cloud albums need the other person to sign in.
- ✕WhatsApp compresses the video
- ✕Email rejects the attachment
- ✕AirDrop does not work with Android
- ✕Shared albums need an account
With Skypost
Open skypost.co.uk in your phone's browser, tap to choose your photos and videos, and send. You get 3 words to pass on. The other person downloads the original files, untouched. Free files can be up to 200 MB each.

Why your videos look worse after sending
Messaging apps are built for speed, not quality. When you send a video on WhatsApp or Messenger it is usually re-encoded at a much lower bitrate, and photos are resized and recompressed. That is fine for a quick laugh, but not for wedding footage, a property walk-through or photos you want to print.
Email has the opposite problem: it keeps quality but can only carry a few megabytes, so it gives up as soon as you try to send more than a handful of pictures.
How to send from your phone
Open skypost.co.uk in Safari or Chrome. Tap to add files and choose photos and videos straight from your camera roll. Hit send, wait for the upload to finish, and you will see 3 words. Text or WhatsApp those words to whoever needs the files.
On the other end they open skypost.co.uk/receive, enter the words and download the originals. They can save single files or grab everything at once as a ZIP. It works the same on iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Chromebook.
Use it a lot? Add Skypost to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Good for
Sharing a day's photos with family who use different phones. Sending a client the edited images from a shoot. Getting videos off your phone and onto your laptop without cables. Collecting everyone's photos from a party into one folder, because anyone with the words can upload too.
Size limits and how long files last
Free files can be up to 200 MB each, with up to 500 MB in a folder, kept for 7 days. For longer videos or big photo sets, Pro allows 5 GB per file and keeps folders for 30 days. Everything is encrypted at rest and deleted automatically when the folder expires.
